The Media Should Cover the Truth

Letters to the Editor: ‘Measure A (for Alex?)’ — Sheriff Villanueva’s legacy in L.A. County comes from his work on the community policing program, which has been proven effective by local, state and national studies. His leadership, particularly during that time, is worthy of being honored, including his dedication, persistence and dedication to the program.

‘No justice’ during ‘Bail Out’ — As someone who has spent nearly 20 years in the Los Angeles County Jail, I can say that, while there is some justice in the system, it is far from universal. ‘We could use more cameras’ — The media has a special responsibility to cover the truth, regardless of what political party it belongs to. It seems like the truth is becoming increasingly important to us, as it is now to the media.

‘Stop whining’ about traffic — Traffic may be a problem in L.A., but we should stop acting like there are people who don’t want to obey the law. We should also stop expecting that traffic issues will magically disappear when everyone is driving safely.
