Ronaldo has put himself in the running for the Manchester United goal of the season, netting the only goal in a 3-1 win over Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Friday.

And just like a certain someone we speak to, his goal was “not planned”, being in the “heat of the moment” and therefore not planned.
While the former World Cup winner celebrated his goal, his manager Jose Mourinho admitted he was surprised at the brilliance of Ronaldo.

Ronaldo has been hailed as the man to lift Manchester United back to the top in just his second season in England after his first season proved to be a disappointment.
