Miss Argentina and Miss Puerto Rico reveal that they’re married after one of the events of this year’s Miss Universe pageant.
“I have been married more than once, I was never married,” Miss Puerto Rico, 21, told People and Miss Argentina, 21, exclusively in a text message. “But I was a virgin until very recently. I felt very close to him, we were very happy.”
“We made our love last a year because we were not ready to have kids,” she said. “I am looking forward to being a mother and having a new life with my mom and dad.”
During the event, which started on July 26, the women revealed that they would be expecting a baby.
“[We were] very honest about what we wanted and what we were giving up,” said Miss Puerto Rico. “We wanted to do something creative, something that would be really nice, something that was special.”
“I have been married more than once,” she told USA Today. “But I was a virgin until very recently. I felt very close to him, we were very happy. I have been going through a lot, I have been working, and I am happy that I still have a lot to give.”
In an interview with “The Talk of the town,” Pilar Jofré, 21, who is married to Ryan Jofré, revealed that she received pregnancy test. She said that was the start of a new relationship that would last her through her entire life.
“I love him very much and he is the best person I know,” she told “The Talk.” “After marriage it would be a lot of work to support a family and kids. I have a lot more to give him. He is a good guy but he is a professional athlete and the life that he has to lead is really different from what I want for us.”
